So my blog name is a little different, i had this idea for a little while but didn't know if it would be catchy enough. There is a reason behind it, in 2012 i developed Bells Palsy.
I may write a longer post on my illness but to cut a long story short for now i suffered with my left side of my face becoming partially paralysed, i was unable to close my left eye and it also affected my mouth which caused speech problems and difficulties eating and drinking.
When researching about the condition i discovered a page called "All Bells and no Whistle" I really liked the title as it was tongue in cheek, subtle humour for something that is obviously a worrying illness.
I have recovered a lot since first becoming ill in 2012 but something i still am unable to do is whistle! Which is why i thought my title was pretty apt for me, i have learnt in time to accept that my face will never be perfect and to remember that there are people suffering with conditions/illnesses so much more worse than mine.
